The Yale Computer Science Career Fair connects Yale students with a focused group of employers recruiting for internships, full-time positions, and other opportunities in computing and technology.
Past Fairs by the Numbers:
- 500+ student registrations
- 300+ in-person attendees
- 15-20 participating employers
Attendees include undergraduate and graduate students from Yale College, the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Engineering & Applied Science, and Yale’s professional schools.
For Employers
Meet Yale students studying computer science, engineering, data science, applied mathematics, and related fields.
The fair is a focused recruiting event for organizations seeking direct conversations with technically talented Yale students. Students attend throughout the event to learn about employers, explore available roles, and ask questions about recruiting and application processes.
Registered employers receive:
- A dedicated six-foot recruiting table
- Pre-event logistics and arrival instructions
- Information about shipping promotional materials
- Opportunities to share roles and recruiting information with registered students
Employer check-in begins at 1:00 p.m., with setup concluding by 1:30 p.m. Additional event timing and arrival instructions will be sent directly to registered organizations before the fair.

For Yale Students
The fair is open to current Yale students interested in computer science and technology-related opportunities, regardless of school or declared major.
Advance registration is strongly encouraged. Registered students will receive final arrival details, employer updates, preparation resources, and other event information before the fair.
Declared Computer Science majors are automatically subscribed to departmental announcements. Other students may join the CS Career Fair Mailing List.
There is no cost for Yale students to attend.

Is this a university-wide career fair?
This is a specialized Computer Science Career Fair rather than Yale’s general university-wide fair. It is hosted by the Department of Computer Science and is open to eligible students across Yale’s schools and programs.
What are the event hours?
The Schwarzman Center Commons is reserved from 1:00–4:30 p.m. This window includes employer check-in and setup. Registered students and employers will receive final arrival instructions before the fair.
