Electronic Coherence in Molecules
I will discuss experiments that measure long lived electronic coherences in molecules using shaped ultrafast laser pulses. In general, entanglement between electronic and nuclear degrees of freedom leads to rapid decay of electronic coherence, but there are special cases in which they can survive, and I will discuss these.
