Applied Physics seniors honored with Outstanding STEM Undergraduate Awards

In a celebration of academic excellence, all four graduating seniors from Yale's Applied Physics Department were recognized with Outstanding STEM Undergraduate Awards at a recent Yale Science and Engineering Association (YSEA) event.

The honored students include Elijah Bakaleynik, Ana Maria Melian, Jordan Davidson, and Avalon Scarola. Prof. Daniel Prober, Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Applied Physics Department, was present to celebrate the students' achievements.

The awards were presented during YSEA's special event at The Elm City Club in New Haven, which also celebrated former president Peter Salovey's contributions to the university. The gathering featured networking opportunities, musical performances, and brought together Yale students, alumni, faculty, and community members to recognize outstanding achievements in STEM fields.
