CS graduate student Rebecca Ramnauth wins Best Paper Award at HRI 2025
At the HRI Conference over spring break, CS graduate student Rebecca Ramnauth won a Best Paper Award for her paper, "Gaze Behavior During a Long-term, In-Home, Social Robot Intervention for Children with ASD" along with co-authors Fred Shic (Univ. of Washington) and Brian Scassellati.
In this paper, Ramnauth demonstrates that children with ASD adopt neurotypical gaze patterns after just two weeks of robot-assisted therapy.
